Abstract

|
The objective of this study is to report the effectiveness of Korean Medicine treatment using ultrasound in lateral epicondylitis. Twenty patients, diagnosed as lateral epicondylitis, were treated by Korean Medicine interventions; acupuncture, direct moxibustion and Korean physical therapy. Visual analog scale (VAS) was adapted as a method of measuring the effectiveness of treatment on lateral epicondylitis. As a result, VAS score was declined at nineteen cases. However, at one case, VAS score was same. Korean Medicine complex treatment can be effectively used for lateral epicondylitis.
